Mont Clare is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Upper Providence Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated on the south side of the Schuylkill River, about 28 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
As of the 2020 census, the population of Mont Clare was approximately 415. The community is predominantly residential, with many historic homes and buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
Mont Clare is home to several small businesses, including restaurants, antique shops, and locally-owned stores. The community also serves as a gateway to the Valley Forge National Historical Park, which is located just a few miles away.
Mont Clare is served by the Spring-Ford Area School District and is located within a convenient commuting distance of several major employment centers in the region, including King of Prussia and Philadelphia.
